Meet Our Founder Daniel Schneider
Daniel Schneider is the esteemed founder and senior consultant at Empower Training Academy, Inc., a distinguished provider of comprehensive security training and consulting services. With a profound dedication to the security industry, Daniel brings over 13 years of invaluable experience, navigating roles from military service to successful entrepreneurial ventures.
Embarking on his security journey in Israel, Daniel served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) as an intelligence specialist and infantryman. His commitment to excellence led him to attain a degree in hospitality, where he honed his skills in various renowned establishments in New York City. Simultaneously, Daniel undertook the ownership and operation of two businesses, all while contributing to volunteer security programs.
In 2009, Daniel re-entered the security arena, assuming roles as a security supervisor and asset protection manager for major telecom giants like Metro PCS and T-Mobile. Additionally, he founded E.T.A. Firearms, specializing in training and educating new shooters. Daniel’s expertise is underscored by prestigious certifications from ASIS International, NRA, and USCCA, American Heart Association, positioning him as a distinguished subject matter expert in the field.
Empower Training Academy under Daniel’s leadership goes beyond conventional security consulting. He crafts tailored in-house training programs and collaborates with reputable organizations to deliver top-tier training across diverse domains.
Daniel’s commitment to security extends to his role as a Security Committee member for his place of worship. Here, he oversees physical security, CCTV, access control systems, and emergency response procedures. His passion for continuous learning is evident in his training of safety teams on effective emergency response and communication strategies.

Steve Dodder
We are delighted to announce the newest addition to our esteemed team, Steven Dodder! An Honorably Discharged USAF Veteran (E-5) and a seasoned security professional, Steve brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Empower Training Academy.
With a remarkable blend of Fortune 200 Company Executive Level experience, public speaking, and volunteer law enforcement assistance, Steve is a valuable asset to our organization. As a Corporate Trainer and Armed/Less-Lethal Self-Defense Trainer with decades of experience, he currently serves as the Duty MSgt. Sergeant for an armed AZ Law Enforcement Auxiliary Organization, where he is AZ Post Qualified for Semi-Automatic Pistol, Carabine (AR-15), and Traffic Control.
Steve’s extensive Armed Security Duty experience includes threat mitigation for businesses, synagogues, churches, and various entities. From providing security for political dignitaries and events to safeguarding children’s events, fairs, and NFL sporting events, Steve has demonstrated his expertise in diverse environments. His past roles with The Pinkerton and Allied Universal further showcase his commitment to excellence in armed and unarmed security services. Certified in various areas, including Law Enforcement & Security Guard Instruction, SABRE OC Pepper Spray, “Byrna” Pepper-Ball Launcher Instruction, and numerous civilian training programs, Steve is a versatile and skilled professional. His certifications range from ASP Baton, Handcuff & Flashlight instruction to NRA CCW (AZ Conceal Carry), USCCA Home Defense, and Massad Ayoob “Use of Deadly Force” Graduate.
Beyond his security prowess, Steve brings a wealth of corporate experience, having served as Director of Corporate Wellness Partnerships for 9HealthFair and spending 28 years with Assurant Health Insurance (Fortune 200) of WI. We’re thrilled to leverage Steve’s expertise, and he’s available to speak on a variety of security topics to groups of any size – large or small.
Amanda Schneider
Amanda’s incredible journey of self-discovery has blossomed into a powerful force of empowerment and positivity. Today, she radiates strength and resilience, sharing her transformative experiences to uplift other women. As a successful business owner, cancer survivor, Reiki Master, and life coach, Amanda goes beyond traditional roles.
Amanda channels her empowering spirit into hosting women empowerment retreats and workshops like “Glitter & Gunpowder.” These events provide a platform for women to connect, learn, and embrace their strengths collectively. In an effort to foster both physical and mental empowerment, Amanda supports women-only firearms classes, imparting valuable skills and confidence.
One unique offering in Amanda’s repertoire is the Kintsugi course. Derived from Japanese art, Kintsugi involves repairing broken pottery with gold lacquer, turning imperfections into something beautiful. In the same vein, Amanda guides participants through a process of healing and transformation, helping them embrace their own “golden” resilience.
